10th annual CHS² - International Conference on Hot Sheet Metal Forming of High-Performance Steel

From June 1 to 3, 2026, scientists, engineers, and industry representatives from around the world gathered in Pilsen for the 10th annual CHS² - International Conference on Hot Sheet Metal Forming of High-Performance Steel. The conference is considered one of the leading international forums for research and development in the field of hot forming technologies for high-performance materials.

The conference was attended by 145 participants from 16 countries and 3 continents, bringing together leading experts from academia and industry to exchange knowledge and strengthen international cooperation. The conference offered an extensive program featuring 65 presentations in the main program and two special sessions, complemented by five invited plenary lectures.

Over the course of three intensive days, participants exchanged the latest research results and technological innovations in areas such as hot forming, advanced high-strength steels, process modeling, materials characterization, and sustainable manufacturing. On the final day of the conference, some participants visited the research organization COMTES FHT a.s., where they had the opportunity to tour the company’s facilities and several specialized laboratories.

The conference once again demonstrated the importance of collaboration between academia and industry.

We thank all participants, co-organizers, and sponsors.
