New laser confocal microscope
As part of the cross-border project AM Surf from the Interreg Bavaria-Czech Republic programme, our light microscopy laboratory was equipped with a new laser confocal microscope from Keyence. This type of microscope combines the advantages of classical approaches by using a combination of laser and visible light to offer us different types of images, such as surface profile, surface roughness, etc. You can find out more here.
