New MTS Landmark testing machines

As part of the development of the mechanical test room, two universal test servo-hydraulic machines MTS Landmark with a force capacity of 100 and 250 kN (models 370.10 and 370.25) were purchased. Each device also includes a silent hydraulic unit SilentFlo, which guarantees independence from the current unit. The independence of the unit is essential for tests requiring high steering sensitivity, especially if it is a longer-term test (shortened creep, relaxation)

Both machines are equipped with equipment for induction heating, measuring and monitoring cracks using the DCPD method and hydraulic jaws. The new equipment should contribute to increasing the capacity of the mechanical testing laboratory, especially in the area of special tests. Each machine includes software for measuring fatigue crack propagation rate (FCG), threshold values and thermomechanical fatigue. The feasibility of standard tests by tensile, compressive, low and high cycle fatigue, etc. is a matter of course.
