New nanoindenter installed

Early in the year, the Department of Materials Analysis of our company acquired a NanoTest Vantage nanoindenter which offers the following features.

• Load range: from 10 μN to 500 mN (resolution: 3 nN)
• Experimental constant-force or constant-displacement measurement
• Evaluation of elastic-plastic behaviour of materials
• Measurement of hardness and elastic modulus
• Noise-damping enclosure, controlled temperature in the working space
• Testing in accordance with ISO 14577 1-4
