Testing the mechanical properties of racing car rims

We recently tested the mechanical properties of automotive rims made of carbon composites in our laboratory. The rims are designed for racing cars and are being developed by the Czech company BeCarbon. Today, these rims were tested on the race track in Sosnová.

During the test, the rims were equipped with a strain gauge measuring system to record the load directly while driving. We are happy to be part of this project and look forward to its continuation.
