We help with the development of a protective face mask

COMTES FHT a.s. participates in the project "Optimization of safety face masks made of polymeric substances". The innovation of this mask lies mainly in its optimization in terms of strength, rigidity and method of production.

We not only helped with the optimization of the production process, but we also recommended suitable filamnets, from which the protective face masks were subsequently printed. "We have carried out the necessary analyzes and tests so that the manufacturer knows what properties the mask has - this has not been the case so far. We also carried out a stress test - a football boot versus a protective face mask, "says prof. Dr. Jan Džugan, Director of Research and Development.

„Cooperation with COMTES FHT a.s. helped us move into modeling using computer simulation and the technological process of printing protective face masks. We are currently negotiating cooperation on another project concerning the possibilities of creating digital twins for children's lower limb orthoses, "said Tomáš Sýkora, CEO of Protetika Plzeň s.r.o..
