We started the operation of an experimental induction device for heat treatment with the possibility of surface hardening

The operation of an experimental induction device for heat treatment with the possibility of surface hardening was launched in August 2021. Parts up to a diameter of 200 mm and a length of up to 1,000 mm can be processed on the new device as standard and it is equipped with a medium-frequency source with an output of 150 kW. Advanced control and scanning allows you to control the entire processing process in detail. In addition to the classic options for measuring temperature using a pyrometer and a welded thermocouple, the device will include software for evaluating the temperature based on the change in the electromagnetic field of the inductor.
