Physical modelling

We offer the following services in physical modelling:

Physical simulation

  • Modelling of almost any temperature and deformation profiles on specimens for the purpose of optimising industrial processes, such as rolling, forging, extrusion, pressing, and others
  • Simulations of the effects of forming process parameters on the resulting microstructure
  • Comprehensive modelling of forming processes by means of combined physical and numerical simulations

Physical modelling of forming processes is carried out using a unique system in our laboratory. The system enables us to simulate a wide range of temperature and deformation profiles.

Model

Basic parameters of physical simulator

  • Heating rate: up to 150 °C/s
  • Cooling rate: up to 150 °C/s
  • Maximum frequency for cyclic loading: 30 Hz
  • Maximum deformation rate: 600 mm/s
  • Maximum force: 250 kN
