Metallic materials and technologies for their processing

Our researchers possess many years of experience in the use of metals in engineering parts. After an investigation of a component’s use in service, its load state and manufacturing routes, we can identify a suitable material and select its optimum processing.

Where there is the need to replace the material of a component, we can analyse the existing material and select its optimum replacement. We verify the proposed changes with the use of numerical and physical models.

Preparation of R&D projects

Since its founding, COMTES FHT a.s. has successfully prepared applications for public aid for its own and its partners’ research and development projects.

On behalf of companies, we can prepare conceptual proposals for projects and then develop full project documentation for public tenders concerning not only basic research (e.g. for the Czech Science Foundation), but mainly applied research. We have experience with national-scale projects in the Czech Republic, (funded by the Ministry of Industry and Trade or the Czechinvest agency), as well as international projects (EUREKA, EU Framework Programme and RFCS).
