Quadratic forging for nickel superalloys
The quadruple forge is an innovative add-on module that allows conventional presses to operate as specialized quick-locking machines. By inserting this device into the press, not only is the machine more flexible, but also the production process is significantly more efficient. Conventional quick-locking machines are often expensive and can require specific maintenance and space, which increases operating costs and production complexity. With our technology, conventional presses can be easily converted to full-fledged quick-lock machines without the need for new equipment, significantly reducing production costs and improving return on investment. Our solution was designed for a hydraulic press with a nominal force of 25 MN. The requirement arose with the intention of expanding the portfolio of technologies offered. The machine with a stroke of 100 - 200 mm is to enable the forming of material with a cross-sectional size of 50 - 350 mm and also requires the design of a method of changing anvils, including a structural solution.
